Ingredients: Chili

  • 3/4 lb Extra lean ground beef
  • 2 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 1 can Chopped stewed tomatoes (15 ounce)
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 can Pinto beans, drained (15 ounces)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

How to Make Chili

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Chili in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a large saucepan, cook ground beef, garlic, and onion over medium heat, stirring until beef is browned. Drain well.
  • Step 2
  • Stir tomatoes with liquid, broth, chili powder, cumin, oregano into beef mixture.
  • Step 3
  • Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer. stirring occasionally, for one hour. Add pinto beans and salt. Cook, stirring for 15 minutes longer.
  • Step 4
  • Top with shredded cheese, chopped onions and sour cream!
