Ingredients: Chilli Eenchada(Raw Jackfruit)

  • Fried Jackfruit
  • 4 cup diced Eenchada (raw jackfruit)
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 1/2 cup Cornflour
  • 1 Salt to taste
  • 1 Oil to fry
  • 1 Water as required
  • Sauté
  • 2 medium tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 medium Capsicums (chopped)
  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 4 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Refined oil
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped cabbage
  • 2 Onions (sliced)
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Corainder powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 5 piece Cloves
  • 1 stick Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper

How to Make Chilli Eenchada(Raw Jackfruit)

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Chilli Eenchada(Raw Jackfruit) in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Peel and cut the jackfruit into pieces.Boil the jackfruit until cooked well.
  • Step 2
  • For the batter:Take a bowl.Place cornflour and water in it.Mix them.Add ginger,chilli powder & salt to it and mix them again.
  • Step 3
  • Dip the jackfruit in the batter.Heat oil in pan and deep fry the jackfruit until turns golden brown.
  • Step 4
  • Blanch the cabbage in hot water and keep it aside.
  • Step 5
  • Heat oil in pan.Sauté ginger-garlic paste,onion, capsicum,cloves,cinnamon stick, tomatoes,cumin powder & corainder powder.
  • Step 6
  • Add the ketchup,soya sauce,black pepper & garam masala to the pan.Then add the fried jackfruit to the mixture and sauté.Serve hot.
