  • 1 pinch Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Rice Flour
  • 1 small Sliver Crystalized Ginger (finely minced)
  • 2 tbsp Canola Oil
  • 1 cup Water
  • 10 oz Koon Chun Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds

How to Make Chinese Barbecue Chicken Meatballs

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Chinese Barbecue Chicken Meatballs in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Combine ground chicken gently with all ingredients except oil, water, barbecue sauce, and sesame seeds.
  • Step 2
  • In a medium skillet of medium heat, add canola oil.
  • Step 3
  • Shape chicken mixture into 8 equal-sized balls and places in heated skillet with oil. Saute on both sides for 3-4 minutes, or until browned.
  • Step 4
  • In a small bowl, stir together water and barbecue sauce. Pour over meatballs in skillet and leave over medium heat until sauce begins to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered for 45 minutes. Top with sesame seeds as garnish.
