  • 2 lb Beef (thinly sliced)
  • 1 can Beef broth
  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 bag broccoli florets (or 2 cups fresh broccoli)
  • 2 cup White or brown rice

How to Make Chinese Beef and Broccoli

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Chinese Beef and Broccoli in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Put sliced beef in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Step 2
  • Mix together the broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic and sesame oil.
  • Step 3
  • Pour sauce over beef.
  • Step 4
  • Cook on low for 5-6 hours.
  • Step 5
  • After 5-6 hours, remove 1/4 cup of sauce from the crock pot and mix with the 2 tablespoons cornstarch.
  • Step 6
  • Stir sauce back into the crock pot.
  • Step 7
  • Add the broccoli, stir again, and cook for 30 more minutes.
  • Step 8
  • In the meantime, cook the rice.
  • Step 9
  • Serve beef and broccoli over rice.
