  • 1 bag Edamame
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp ★Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp ★Doubanjiang
  • 1 tsp ★Garlic (grated)
  • 1 tbsp ★Ginger (grated)
  • 1/3 ★Japanese leek (minced)
  • 2 tsp ★Sesame oil
  • 1 small amont Red chili pepper

How to Make Chinese-Style Spicy Edamame

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Chinese-Style Spicy Edamame in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Boil plenty of water in a pot, add the salt, and boil edamame for 5-6 minutes. If you want to make this an authentic Chinese dish, add 1 star anise.
  • Step 2
  • Mix ★ ingredients, and set aside.
  • Step 3
  • When the edamame is finished cooking, transfer to a sieve. Let it cool under running water, and transfer into a bowl.
  • Step 4
  • Mix in the Step 2 sauce.
  • Step 5
  • Sprinkle with red chili peppers, and done. Let it chill in the fridge. It will taste more delicious.
