  • 1/3 cup or more popcorn kernels
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 15 plain grissini sticks
  • 250 grams dark chocolate melts
  • 4 tbsp hundreds and thousands

How to Make Choc popcorn sticks

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Choc popcorn sticks in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat the oil and kernels in a pan with a lid.
  • Step 2
  • Shake the pan as it's on the stove top and when the popping slows down remove from heat
  • Step 3
  • Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Heat chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water being careful that the base of the bowl doesn't touch the water
  • Step 4
  • Fill a medium sized snap lock bag with popcorn and crush coarsely with a rolling pin. Pour crumbs onto a plate
  • Step 5
  • Once the chocolate has melted, coat two thirds of each grissini stick in it, tapping off excess
  • Step 6
  • Coat in popcorn and place on prepared tray. Place remaining chocolate in a snap lock bag and snip off a small corner and drizzle zigzag zags over the sticks.
  • Step 7
  • Sprinkle with 100s & 1000s and allow to set for 2 hours
