  • 1 cup Chopped nuts ( any type of nut of your choice personally I think almonds and peanuts go good with this pie separate of course )
  • 1 Sweetened whipped cream or ice cream (optional)
  • 1 cup (6 oz.) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate MorselsNESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels( of course you can use any chocolate of your choice I just think these 2 mixtures were better in the pie )

How to Make Chocolate chip pie

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Chocolate chip pie in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 325°
  • Step 2
  • BEAT eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy. Beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat in butter. Stir in morsels and nuts. Spoon into pie shell.
  • Step 3
  • BAKE for 55 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm with whipped cream, if desired.
  • Step 4
  • * If using frozen pie shell, use deep-dish style, thawed completely. Bake on baking sheet; increase baking time slightly.
  • Step 5
  • Prep Time: 15 min Cook Time: 55 min Cooling Time: 15 min
