  • 200 grams butter,plus extra for greasing
  • 225 grams dark brown soft sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 25 grams cocoa powder,sifted
  • 75 grams self-raising flour,sifted
  • 3 large eggs,beaten
  • 400 grams good quality dark choc(50% cocoa solids)

How to Make chocolate fudge brownie

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make chocolate fudge brownie in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Pre heat oven 170 C (150C fan oven) gas mark 3
  • Step 2
  • Line a 20 cm (8inch) baking tin with parchment paper and grease
  • Step 3
  • Melt chocolate with butter in a heatproof bowl over à pan of gently simmering water until smooth . Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  • Step 4
  • Mix the sugar, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, flour and eggs. Then pour in melted chocolate and stir.
  • Step 5
  • Turn the mix into the tin and smooth over with back of spoon. Break up remaining chocolate and sprinkle over top.
  • Step 6
  • place in centre of oven and cook for around 1 1/4 hours until set to centre on surface but soft underneath. Do not over cook or the soft gooey centre will spoil .
  • Step 7
  • Leave to cool for 2 hours then turn out onto a chopping board and cut up into slices.serve cold or slightly warm with ice cream
