  • 80 grams Unsalted butter of margarine
  • 80 grams Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 Chocolate bar
  • 25 grams Walnuts
  • Dry Ingredients
  • 100 grams Cake flour
  • 3 grams Baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Pure cocoa powder

How to Make Chocolate Muffins

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Chocolate Muffins in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Roast the walnuts in the oven for about 5 minutes at 170℃. Place the butter in a heatproof bowl, then put in the oven. (Melt in residual heat.)
  • Step 2
  • Combine the dry ingredients, and sift.
  • Step 3
  • Mix the batter until it becomes like mayonnaise consistency, and add the granulated sugar into 2 batches, then mix. Add the beaten egg little by little, and continue mixing.
  • Step 4
  • Add the walnuts and mix. Preheat the oven for 180℃.
  • Step 5
  • When blended, add 1/2 of the sifted dry ingredients, and fold in. Add the milk, and mix. Then add the remaining dry ingredients, and fold in.
  • Step 6
  • Pour the batter into the cups, and put the pieces of chocolate bar on top. Bake in the oven preheated to 180℃ for about 30 minutes, then they're done!
