    Step 1
  • on lightly floured surface, roll out puff pastry slightly to a 12" square. cut into 9 equal pieces.
  • Step 2
  • whisk together egg yolk and cream. brush along two sides of each piece of pastry.
  • Step 3
  • place 1 tablespoon chocolate chips in the center of each piece of pastry, and fold over into a triangle, pressing closed.
  • Step 4
  • freeze on baking sheet 20 minutes. meanwhile, preheat oven to 400.
  • Step 5
  • brush remaining egg yolk mixture liberally over turnovers. bake 14 minutes or until golden brown.
