Ingredients: Chow Mein

  • 8 oz Thin lo mein noodles
  • 1 tbsp Peanut oil
  • 1 carrot, Juliennd
  • 1/2 cup head napa cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 Onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 sliced green onion, for topping (optional)

How to Make Chow Mein

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Chow Mein in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside
  • Step 2
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the peanut oil.
  • Step 3
  • Add the carrots, cabbage and onion cook for 1 minute
  • Step 4
  • Add in the chicken broth, soy sauce and the sesame oil, then toss in the noodles. Top with the sliced green onions.
