  • Dough
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • Topping
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon, ground

How to Make Churros

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Churros in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a saucepan, add water, sugar, salt and oil.
  • Step 2
  • Stir until boiling. Then remove from heat.
  • Step 3
  • Stir in flour and mix well until you form a ball.
  • Step 4
  • In a dutch oven, add 1 quart of vegetable oil. Heat oil to 375'F.
  • Step 5
  • Using a piping bag with a star tip, add dough to hot oil and fry. Don't add too many to pot at same time (3-4).
  • Step 6
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon on a plate. Roll each churro in the topping mix so they are coated. Shake off any excess.
  • Step 7
  • Enjoy!
