Ingredients: Cinnamon Rolls

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp rapid rise yeast
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream

How to Make Cinnamon Rolls

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Cinnamon Rolls in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix all wet ingredients (milk, eggs, and butter), then add the dry ingredients (sugar, yeast and salt) add the bread flour and mix until the dough forms. Let rise in a large bowl covered in plastic wrap or cloth for 30 minutes or until the size doubles.
  • Step 2
  • On a separate bowl mix the brown sugar and cinnamon powder until well combined.
  • Step 3
  • Roll the dough in a square like thin shape.
  • Step 4
  • Spread the sugar-cinnamon mixture on the dough leaving half to an inch space on the edges. Optionally, you may add small amounts of butter on the dough.
  • Step 5
  • Carefully roll the dough tightly.
  • Step 6
  • Portion to desired cut then bake in a 200°C oven, after 10 minutes pour the heavy cream on top of the rolls then cook for another 30 minutes.
  • Step 7
  • While hot, you may add cream butter frosting as desired and serve. (See my other recipe for cream butter frosting)
