Ingredients: Cinnamon Rolls

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ounces unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 oz pack active dry yeast
  • 4 cups plus about 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoon melted salted butter, about, divided use
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 4 ounces salted butter (1 stick), at room temperature
  • 4 ounce mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extracts

How to Make Cinnamon Rolls

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 20 steps you must follow to make Cinnamon Rolls in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Spray a 9 by 13 inch pan well with bakers spray. Preheat oven to 350
  • Step 2
  • Combine 4 cups flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl and whisk to combine, set aside

  • In a small bowl combinebrown sugar and cinnamon, set aside
  • Step 4
  • In a saucepan, whisk milk, sugar and butter and heat just until it reaches a simmer, don't allow to boil. Remove from heat and transfer to a large bowl and add vanilla extract and stir in. Cool to 95 to 100F
  • Step 5
  • Add yeast to warm milk and whisk in

  • Add flour mixture to yeast mixture to combine completely the dough will be soft, cover with plastic wrap and let rise 1 hour or until doubled in size
  • Step 7
  • Turn dough out on to a floured surface and knead in remaining 1/2 cup flour to make a soft dough. Addmore flour if dogh is very sticky but pnly if needed, its should be a very soft dogh for a tender roll.
  • Step 8
  • Roll into a 18 by 9 inch rectangle
  • Step 9
  • Spread with melted butter thinly covering
  • Step 10
  • Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Step 11
  • Sprinkle with raisins
  • Step 12
  • Roll up tightly, pinching closed
  • Step 13
  • With a very sharp knife cut in 2 1/2 inc slices
  • Step 14
  • Place in prepared pan, almost touching. Cover with towel and let rise about 20 to 35 minutes until doubled in size
  • Step 15
  • Brush lightly on tops with remaining melted butter
  • Step 16
  • Bake about 25 to 30 miinutes, until golden and middle roll is cooked through with no raw dough. Slide a thin knife to check if your not sure. Remove and cool only 4 to 5 minutes before icing

  • Beat butter and mascarpone cheese until smooth
  • Step 19
  • Beat in confectioner's sugar and vanilla until smooth
  • Step 20
  • Spread over warm cinnamon rolls
