  • Batter
  • 3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Topping
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • Glaze
  • 2 cup powdered sugar
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

How to Make Cinnamon Swirl Cake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Cinnamon Swirl Cake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix all "batter" ingredients thoroughly, except butter.
  • Step 2
  • Slowly & gradually add in the melted butter. Mix between additions.
  • Step 3
  • Pour into a greased 9"x13" pan. Should you want a thicker cake, use a 9"x9" pan.
  • Step 4
  • Mix together all "topping" ingredients.
  • Step 5
  • Drop the topping onto the batter in the pan and swirl around with a butter knife.
  • Step 6
  • Bake: 350° for 40 minutes (if using 9"x9", 50 minutes)
  • Step 7
  • When cake finishes, take it out of the oven and begin mixing all glaze ingredients together.
  • Step 8
  • After cake has cooled slightly, drizzle the glaze over it, using a spoon to make it as even as possible.
  • Step 9
  • Let the cake cool for an additional 15 - 30 minutes before serving.
