  • 1 cup onion
  • 10 slice bread
  • 2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp sage
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 stick butter

How to Make Classic Celery & Onion Stuffing/Dressing

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Classic Celery & Onion Stuffing/Dressing in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven 325°F. Cut bread into 1/2 inch cubes arrange on a cookie sheet put in oven to dry out. Will take ab 20 mins just eyeball it. they should be nice and crunchy
  • Step 2
  • In a skillet melt 1 stick of butter and saute chopped celery and onion until onions clear in color.
  • Step 3
  • Once bread cubes are done put in a large bowl and mix in onion and celery. Also eggs and the seasonings.
  • Step 4
  • Add the chicken broth in 1/2 cup intervals. you want the bread cubes to soak up the broth but not be soggy
  • Step 5
  • Place mixture in small buttered casserole dish. Bake covered in oven on 350 for 1 hour take off cover last 15 mins. Enjoy!
