  • 1/2 cup Desiccated coconut
  • 1 1/2 cup Self raising flour
  • 6 oz Butter
  • 1/3 cup Brown sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Palm sugar syrup

How to Make Coconut Loaf

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Coconut Loaf in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cream the butter and brown sugar until light and creamy.
  • Step 2
  • Then add the eggs one at a time and mix well.
  • Step 3
  • Once all the eggs are well mixed into butter mixture, fold in the palm sugar syrup, flour and desiccated coconut into the mixture.
  • Step 4
  • Pour the mixture into a loaf tin ( 9 in by 4 in by 3 in) that is lined with parchment paper.
  • Step 5
  • Baked for 1hr 10 mins at 320 Fahrenheit.
