  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk

  • Rinse the rice in cold water and drain well.
  • Step 2
  • Place in a saucepan with the water, coconut milk and salt.
  • Step 3
  • Place over high heat and bring to a boil.
  • Step 4
  • Stir, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot.
  • Step 5
  • Cook for 15 minutes.
  • Step 6
  • Remove from heat and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Step 7
  • Fluff with a fork before serving.
