  • 1 Coconut milk
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 Mushrooms
  • 1 Shrimps
  • 1 chopped parsley
  • 1 Noodles
  • 1 Chopped carrots
  • 1 Assorted Spices
  • 1 cornstarch
  • 1 Chili Peppers
  • 1 fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ginger

How to Make Coconut Shrimp Soup

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Coconut Shrimp Soup in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Fry onions, peppers and mushrooms in oil
  • Step 2
  • Add coconut milk and carrots
  • Step 3
  • Add water with about a tablespoon of cornstarch
  • Step 4
  • Stir occasionally, adding the shrimps when the soup starts to simmer
  • Step 5
  • Add assorted Spices and ginger. Personally I used lots of rosemary, Chilli powder and curry powder. I also added a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon
  • Step 6
  • Add noodles to thicken the soup.
  • Step 7
  • Since coconut soup cooks very quickly take the soup down when you feel it's ready. I let it boil for about 15 minutes.
  • Step 8
  • Add lemon juice and chopped parsley to garnish
  • Step 9
