  • 24 large size shrimps,clean,devained
  • 1 1/2 cup shreded coconut ,toasted
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumb
  • 1 tsp each salt and pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 oil ,enough for deep fry

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Coconut shrimps in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Clan,devain shrimps ,pat dry,lightly coat with flour
  • Step 2
  • Toast shreded coconut to lightly brown,mix with breadcrumbs,seasoning with salt and pepper ,mix well
  • Step 3
  • Get 3 stations ready,floured shrimps,egg,shreded coconut mix
  • Step 4
  • Dip shrimps in beat egg,coat with coconut ,do this step twice,arrange in container and bring to freez for 2 hour,this can help easy to fry
  • Step 5
  • Deep fry until light golden and crispy ,serve hot with your choice of sauce ,mine easy with tartare :)
