  • 2/3 cup plain bread crumbs
  • 1 envelope sausage gravy mix
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 3 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 lb cubed steak

    Step 1
  • Combine flour & salt in bowl.
  • Step 2
  • Place eggs in a 2nd bowl.
  • Step 3
  • Bread crumbs in a 3rd bowl.
  • Step 4
  • Preheat large saute pan on medium 1-2 min.
  • Step 5
  • Dredge each steak in flour, dip into eggs, let excess drip off.
  • Step 6
  • Dredge in bread crumbs. Wash hands.
  • Step 7
  • Place oil in pan, then add steaks. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden. Remove from pan.
  • Step 8
  • Add gravy mix to oil and gradually add milk and water, stirring continually.
  • Step 9
  • Reduce heat to low. Cook & stir 2-3 minutes. Serve gravy over steaks.
