  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp dried mustard
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp old bay spice
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 16 oz lump crab meat
  • salt and fresh cracked pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

How to Make Crab Cakes

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Crab Cakes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In medium bowl combine all ingredients but olive oil, crab meat, and bread crumbs.
  • Step 2
  • Fold in crabmeat being sure not to mix to much. You want the crab in chunks, not mushy.
  • Step 3
  • Fold in bread crumbs. Make cakes into desired size.
  • Step 4
  • Heat olive oil in pan over medium heat. Add your crab cakes and cook on both sides until golden brown. Enjoy.
