  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 celery rib, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cup chicken broth
  • 3 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup cooked cubed chicken
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • pinch of parsley

  • In a large saucepan, saute the onion and celery in butter until tender
