Ingredients: Creamy Balsamic and Herb Chicken

  • 5 boneless chicken breasts trimmed
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 each of salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley

How to Make Creamy Balsamic and Herb Chicken

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Creamy Balsamic and Herb Chicken in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Pat chicken dry. In a large resealable bag place flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add chicken and seal the bag and give a good shake.
  • Step 2
  • Melt olive oil and butter in a large nonstick pan and add chicken. Make sure oil is hot so the chicken browns properly. Brown each side 5 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Remove browned chicken to a plate and add chicken stock keeping the heat on and deglaze the pan.
  • Step 4
  • Add the cream and remaining ingredients and bring to a slow simmer. Return the chicken to the pan and continue to cook for 10 minutes on a low simmer spooning cream sauce on top. Allow to sit for 3 minutes before plating. I served on top of a whole grain rice. If you want remove the chicken and higher the heat to thicken the sauce more. Enjoy!!
