  • 300 g elbow macaroni
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter or margarine
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 small can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup nestle all-purpose cream
  • 1 cup knorr chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated medium cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup marca piƱa parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • to taste salt and pepper

How to Make Creamy Macaroni and Cheese

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Creamy Macaroni and Cheese in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drrain and set aside.
  • Step 2
  • Melt butter in a deep pan over medium heat. Add garlic and onion and cook until fragrant.
  • Step 3
  • Add milk and flour, whisk in milk a little at a time to keep mixture smooth. Whisking constantly until mixture thickens
  • Step 4
  • Stir in cream,chicken broth, cheddar cheese and parmesan. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Turn off heat.
  • Step 5
  • Add macaroni to cheese mixture and mix well.
  • Step 6
  • Pour mixture into baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Bake in a 400 Degrees F. oven for 15 minutes or until top is golden brown.
