  • 250 ml Heavy Cream
  • 200 ml Full milk
  • 1 tsp Crushed Garlic and Ginger Mix
  • 1 A pinch of salt
  • 4 medium size potatoes
  • 500 grams Mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp Knot cream of mushroom
  • 1/2 cup Grated white cheddar cheese

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Creamy Mushrooms And Potatoes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Add the cream, milk, garlic and salt to a pot and bring it to a simmer.
  • Step 2
  • Once your mixer simmer add your potatoes, that should be peeled and cut into 5-10mm medallions.
  • Step 3
  • Once your potatoes are a bit cooked and soft remove them from the mixture and spread them out in a casserole. Then spread the mushrooms on top or the potatoes.
  • Step 4
  • Toss the casserole into the oven at 200°F C for 10-15min. Take it out and spread your grated cheese on top and put back into the oven until your cheese is melted and brown if you prefer.
  • Step 5
  • In a cup mix the cream of mushroom with half a cup of water, after removing your potatoes add the cream of mushroom mixture to the cream mixture and let it simmer for about a minute or two, if it gets too thick add a bit more cream. Pour the mix into you casserole with the potatoes and mushrooms, just enough to cover the potatoes.
  • Step 6
  • Switch off the oven and let it rest a bit and serve. Serves 4-6 people.
