  • 1 packages egg noodles
  • 1 rope of smoked sausage (I used Johnsonville, but any brand will do)
  • 2 medium green peppers, cored and sliced into strips
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 24 oz alfredo sauce
  • 2 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cayanne pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup butter, for sauteing onions and peppers
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar

How to Make Creamy Sausage Pasta and Peppers

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Creamy Sausage Pasta and Peppers in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Prepare the noodles according to the package (I add a bit of salt to the water when it boils, it helps to keep the pasta from sticking). Drain and set aside.
  • Step 2
  • While boiling the pasta, saute the onions in a saucepan. Add the peppers and garlic, stirring constantly.
  • Step 3
  • Slice the sausage and add to peppers and onions, stirring to keep from scorching.
  • Step 4
  • Once the sausage mixture is finished, remove from heat.
  • Step 5
  • Mix alfredo sauce into noodles and turn heat back on to low, stirring constantly. Add spices and mix well.
  • Step 6
  • Mix in peppers, onions, and sausage and combine. Add shredded cheese and stir until mixed. Serve hot and enjoy!
