  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 3/4 cup blueberries (fresh preferably, but if using frozen, do not thaw)

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Crispy Gooey Blueberry Cookies in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer until smooth. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well until combined, about two minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon with the mixer on low speed.
  • Step 3
  • Add milk. If dough is still crumbly, add milk a tablespoon at a time until it just comes together
  • Step 4
  • Fold in blueberries gently with a large rubber spatula. It's ok if a few break, but try not to turn your dough purple!
  • Step 5
  • Refrigerate for thirty minutes lightly covered with a towel
  • Step 6
  • Preheat oven to 375°F
  • Step 7
  • Remove dough from fridge and roll into 1 1/2 inch balls. Set two inches apart on cookie sheet and bake at 375°F for 10 - 12 minutes.
  • Step 8
  • Cool for two minutes on cookie sheet before transferring to wire rack to cool completely. Makes 12 -15 big cookies.
