  • 4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 egg

  • boil 1 pound box of elbow noodles until they are al'dente

  • get the crock pot out and set to high
  • Step 3
  • pour 2 cups of milk, butter and egg and salt and mix it together

  • now, slowly add the cooked noodles if they are hot as this will temper the egg instead of cooking the egg right away

  • mix in 3 cups of the cheese, save last 1 cup for top
