Ingredients: Crumbed Mushrooms

  • 500 grams white button mushrooms
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 100 grams flour
  • to taste mixed herbs
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • Brushed bran cereal/bread crumbs
  • 50 ml olive oil for frying

How to Make Crumbed Mushrooms

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Crumbed Mushrooms in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • I didn't put a quantity on the bran cereal because i poured it from my cereal box. Put the herbs, cereal, salt and pepper in one bowl. Flour in another bowl and egg in another
  • Step 2
  • Wash the mushrooms and leave them wet
  • Step 3
  • Okay this is the messy part for your fingers. Take each mushroom, dip them in the flour, then the egg then the bran cereal/bread crumbs.
  • Step 4
  • Repeat with each mushroom.
  • Step 5
  • Slowly add the mushrooms into the oil for 5 minutes then turn over for another 5 minutes
  • Step 6
  • Remove from the oil, drain and serve!!
