  • 85 grams ★Cake flour
  • 15 grams ★Pure cocoa
  • 30 grams ★Almond flour
  • 1 tsp ★Baking powder
  • 60 grams White sugar
  • 30 grams Margarine
  • 30 grams Vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 80 grams Chocolate chips

How to Make Crusty Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Crusty Chocolate Chip Cookies in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Combine and sift all ingredients marked with a ★.
  • Step 2
  • Microwave the margarine for 40 seconds and transfer to a bowl. Add the white sugar and mix well. (The mixture can be slightly lumpy at this point.)
  • Step 3
  • Add the vegetable oil and mix well with a whisk until smooth.
  • Step 4
  • Add beaten eggs in 3 batches. Mix with each addition.
  • Step 5
  • Mix in the sifted dry ingredients. Using a rubber spatula, fold in the dough from the bottom of the bowl. Add the chocolate chips before the dough becomes completely smooth.
  • Step 6
  • Using a spoon, drop the cookie dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Arrange the cookies with decent space between them.
  • Step 7
  • Bake in a 160℃ preheated oven for 30 minutes. Let them cool on a rack to finish.
  • Step 8
  • You could also bake the remaining dough in a toaster oven. Bake at 1000 W for 5 minutes, flip them over, then bake for another 2 minutes.
  • Step 9
