  • 5 shallots
  • 1 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 cloves
  • 4 cardamom
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 pinch coriander seeds
  • 1 pinch cumin
  • 3 tbsp tamarind pulp
  • 2 lemon grass
  • 4 peeled potatoes
  • 5 Lime leaves

How to Make Curry Chicken Malaysian Style

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Curry Chicken Malaysian Style in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Add all ingredients except cinnamon stick, chicken, potatoes into the blender to mix roughly. Add a little coconut milk if necessary to facilitate the blending. Save a lemon grass and 2 lime leaves for later use.

  • In a large pot, add the blended ingredients. Stir fry for about 2 mins.

  • Step 5
  • Cover with lid when you see too much water evaporated.
  • Step 6
  • Add coconut milk and continue cooking for another 15 mins.
  • Step 7
  • Add salt to taste.
