  • 400 ml coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tbsp Fish sauce or light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • VEGETABLE OPTIONAL
  • 3 medium onion
  • 2 cut into cube carrot
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • POUNDED PASTE
  • 6 small shallot
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1 thumbs size fresh turmeric

  • FOR THE LG SPICY SAUCE (SAMBAL SAUCE ) PLEASE VIEW ATTACHMENTS BELOW

  • in pan with oil sauté pounded paste till fragrant then add carrot and onion
  • Step 3
  • Add spicy sauce ( sambal sauce) and add fish sauce and sugar mix well then add coconut milk

  • transfer to a deep pot and make sure fish are submerge in curry
  • Step 5
  • add water then bring to a boil and fish head and cover lid and simmer for 20 minute, great with white rice
