  • 1 lb Meat, I used beef sirloin
  • 1/2 Green pepper
  • 1/2 small onion (about 1/2 cup)
  • 2 medium red potatoes
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Salt & fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Granulated garlic
  • 2 tsp Yellow curry powder (madras)

How to Make Curry In A Hurry

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Curry In A Hurry in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Slice meat, peppers, & onions into thin, bite size pieces (be sure to cut meat against the grain for tenderness)
  • Step 2
  • Clean & pierce potatoes and cook in microwave according to your appliance. Should be about 4 minutes or so. Set aside to cool slightly, then cut into bite size pieces.
  • Step 3
  • Heat a large skillet over medium high heat with the oil. Once hot, add butter, meat, peppers & onions.
  • Step 4
  • Let cook a few minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  • Step 5
  • Once the meat is half done, add the spices and potatoes. Stir and cook to desired doneness. Because I used steak, I cooked to medium. If you use chicken or pork you will want to follow proper cooking times for those proteins.
