  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 3 can Chili beans (27 oz) whatever kind of spicy you like
  • 1 can chili beans (15 oz)
  • 4 stalk celery sliced
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper (optional)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can diced tomatoes for chili

How to Make Dad's chili

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Dad's chili in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Sauté the celery in butter for about 5 min. Then add peppers and onions. Sauté until tender.
  • Step 2
  • Brown the ground beef
  • Step 3
  • While beef is browning put the beans, tomatoes, celery, onions & peppers in a large stock pot.
  • Step 4
  • Add the beef to the bean mixture. Add your salt and pepper. And simmer for about an hour.
