  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 tsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 1/2 cup milk

    Step 1
  • Boil macaroni in large pot with the olive oil and bay leaves until tender
  • Step 2
  • While macaroni is boiling, shred cheddar cheese and monterey jack cheese onto separate plates

  • Pour milk into mixing bowl. Add the eggs, salt, pepper, onion powder, dry mustard, and flour. Add melted butter. Mix until ingredients are well blended.

  • When macaroni is finished cooking, remove from pot and rinse well with cold water.

  • Pour macaroni into a 13x9 casserole dish
  • Step 6
  • Mix half the cheddar cheese, and all the Monterey jack cheese into the macaroni.
  • Step 7
  • Cut the Velveeta cheese into chunks and mix into macaroni.
  • Step 8
  • Pour the milk and egg mixture over the macaroni and mix well.
  • Step 9
  • Spread the remaining cheddar cheese over the top of the macaroni.
  • Step 10
  • Bake uncovered at 350°F for 45 minutes
