  • 2 lb Ground beef, but I use ground round.
  • 1 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs, might need a little more
  • 1 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Jumbo egg
  • 1/3 Milk, also you might need more
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Weber's Roastes Garlic &Herb seasoning
  • 1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
  • 1 packages Pepperidge Farm whole wheat hoagie rolls
  • 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

How to Make Dawn's Meatball Sub

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Dawn's Meatball Sub in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix and mash first 6 ingredients together.
  • Step 2
  • Shape into 1inch balls.
  • Step 3
  • Brown in a pan on medium high heat til lighty brown. Don't worry about cooking all the way through.
  • Step 4
  • When all are done, add them to a large sauce pot and cover with you spaghetti sauce.
  • Step 5
  • Cook on medium heat til starts to boil. Then turn down and simmer for 2 1/2hrs or when meatballs are cooked all the way through, cooking time can vary with each stove. Keep stirred, but be careful not to break meatballs apart.
  • Step 6
  • When done, place about 3 or 4 meatballs in hoagie roll, top with mozzarella cheese. Place under broiler for a few sec to melt cheese. Be careful and watch closely so it doesn't burn.
  • Step 7
  • When done, let set for a few minutes to cool. Eat and enjoy
