  • 1 amount of peanut or vegetable oil for deep fryer,
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp each, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, cumin, paprika and chili powder
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 4-6 pound turkey breast

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Deep fried turkey breast in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Rinse turkey breast and pat dry.
  • Step 2
  • Remove wish bone, makes for easier carving.

Drop turkey in slowly, if oil level looks as if it will overflow, Stop. Let oil cool and remove some oil. Better being safe!!!
  • Step 6
  • Submerge breasts, cooking one at a time. You want to achieve a medium golden color. Internal temp should read 180°F.
  • Step 7
  • Let rest 10 minutes and carve!
  • Step 8
  • This recipe is also great for chicken breasts on the bone and even using half of a smaller chicken. About a 4-5 pound when whole.
