  • 2 tsp vanilla extract (I use extra)
  • 2 cup buttermilk or sour milk (make sour milk by putting 2 tablespoons lemon juice or vinegar in a 2 cup measuring cup; add enough milk to make 2 cups)

How to Make Devil's Food Cake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 10 steps you must follow to make Devil's Food Cake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Step 2
  • Grease and flour a 9 X 13 inch pan, two 9 inch round pans, or three 8 inch round pans and set aside.
