  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 3 drops Vanilla extract

How to Make Diamond Cookies

  • Run the ● ingredients through a sifter. Leave out the butter until it reaches room temperature.

  • When the butter develops a mayonnaise-like consistency, add the sugar and mix well.

  • Divide the dough into half. Roll into 20 cm sticks.

  • Tip: Use cardboard cores from plastic wrap to form the dough.
  • Step 8
  • Chill for about an hour in the freezer.
  • Step 9
  • Sprinkle granulated sugar on the frozen dough. Slice 1 cm thick.
  • Step 10
  • Place on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes in preheated oven 320F/160C.
  • Step 11
  • It's very soft just after baking. It will be crispy chilled.
