  • 8 oz package cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar (confectioners sugar)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • mixture/ topping
  • 1/2 cup heath baking pieces
  • 1/2 cup Carmel baking pieces (chips)
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

How to Make Earthquake cake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 12 steps you must follow to make Earthquake cake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Step 2
  • Spray 9 x 13 pan with Pam
  • Step 3
  • Sprinkle coconut on bottom of pan.
  • Step 4
  • Sprinkle pecan pieces over coconut

  • Mix cake mix per instructions
  • Step 6
  • Dump chips into a bowl and mix well
  • Step 7
  • Cream together cream cheese, butter, vanilla and powder sugar

  • Pour cake batter into pan
  • Step 9
  • Spoon scoop cream cheese icing into cake batter
  • Step 10
  • Sprinkle half of the chip mixture over the cake
  • Step 11
  • Bake 35 to 40 minutes
  • Step 12
  • Sprinkle with remaining chip mixture on top of the cake.
