  • 3 Parsnips, cut in 1 inch strips
  • 1/2 cup Celery, chopped
  • 4 clove Garlic, smashed and sliced
  • 5 Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 envelope Pot Roast or stew seasoning

How to Make Easy Country Pot Roast

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 10 steps you must follow to make Easy Country Pot Roast in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Sprinkle the roast with garlic salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
  • Melt the bacon drippings in a large frying pan on high heat.
  • Step 3
  • Gently place the roast in the pan.
  • Step 4
  • Sear all sides of the roast including the edges.
  • Step 5
  • Holding the lid over the majority of the pan, quickly pour in 3 cups of water. Steam will be hot.

  • Step 10
  • Simmer for an hour, allow to sit 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
