  • Mix together the tempura flour and water to your desired thickness. Break up a slice of the onion and coat in the * batter.

  • In Step 2, make the batter as you like If your batter is heavy on the tempura flour, it will be thick, but if you add a bit more water, it will be thinner. I recommend a thicker batter for crunchy fried onions!
