  • 2 Egg (for coating)
  • 1 Panko (for coating)

    Step 1
  • Sweat the thinly sliced onions in margarine. Make sure you cook over low heat to bring out the sweetness and to prevent burning.

  • Transfer to a large bowl, and after the mixture has cooled, cover with plastic wrap and cool in the fridge for 1 hour.
  • Step 7
  • Remove the mixture from the fridge. Shape into appropriate sized pieces. Then coat in flour, then in a beaten egg and panko crushed with your fingertips. Fry both sides at 170°C for 2 minutes.
  • Step 8
  • Drain on paper towels. Serve on a plate and they are done!
