  • 1 cup converted rice (I use uncle ben's brand and mix half regular & half brown)
  • 2 cup water
  • 1/2 tbsp chicken broth concentrate (bovril type)
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/2 tsp dry thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dry savory
  • 1/2 tsp dry chervil
  • 2 dry bay leafs

How to Make Easy No Fuss Pilaf Rice

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Easy No Fuss Pilaf Rice in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Bring water to boil with chicken broth concentrate and olive oil
  • Step 2
  • Add rice and dry herbs when liquid is boiling
  • Step 3
  • Reduce heat to medium heat and cook uncover for about 10 minutes or till liquid is almost all absorbed, stirring occasionally
  • Step 4
  • Reduce heat again to low and continue cooking for another 10 minutes or so, stirring frequently
  • Step 5
  • When all liquid is absorb, cover and remove from heat.
  • Step 6
  • Let stand for 5 minutes before stirring and serving
  • Step 7
  • Great with any grilled meat, fish or seafood

  • You can double the quantities if needed
