  • 1 tbsp White sesame paste
  • 450 ml Soy milk
  • 100 ml Dashi stock
  • 1 tsp Usukuchi soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Wasabi

    Step 1
  • Put the dashi stock in a pot and add the powdered kanten. Dissolve the kanten.
  • Step 2
  • Put the sesame paste in a bowl and pour in the mixture from Step 1. Mix well.

  • Heat the soy milk in a pot and add the mixture from Step 2. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring to prevent lumps. When it's well mixed and bubbles start to form around the edges of the pot, remove from heat.
  • Step 4
  • Immediately place the pot over cold water to cool and stir until thickened.
  • Step 5
  • After the mixture thickens, pour it into a mold and chill in the refrigerator.
  • Step 6
  • Cut into desired sizes and serve with wasabi.
