Ingredients: Easy Stuffed Shells

  • 1 lb Ground beef or turkey
  • 1 can favorite spaghetti sauce, I used Prego
  • seasonings
  • tbsp season salt
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • vegetables
  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 1/4 white onion
  • 1/3 cup mushrooms (this part is completely optional)

How to Make Easy Stuffed Shells

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Easy Stuffed Shells in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Divide sauce into 2 portions reheat oven to 400° Cook your meat in pan with seasonings, drain fat and set aside
  • Step 2
  • Heat pot in medium high, add 1st portion of sauce, meat, chopped onions, bell pepper and mushrooms. Make sure they are chopped small. Let simmer on low for 15min
  • Step 3
  • Boil shells in lightly salted water until they are almost done
  • Step 4
  • Use second portion of sauce to coat bottom of pan
  • Step 5
  • Using a table spoon scoop meat sauce mixture into drained shells and lay them evenly on top of the sauced pan
  • Step 6
  • Cover with foil and poke a few holes to release steam bake for another 15 minutes
  • Step 7
  • Remove foil and cover with your favorite cheese. I used an Italian blend. Place back into the oven just until the cheese is melted. Sprinkle with chopped parsley just before serving
