  • 250 grams Cake flour
  • 80 grams Butter
  • 50 grams Vegetable oil
  • 100 grams Sugar

How to Make Easy Tender Crumbly Cookies

    Step 1
  • Put the room temperature butter and vegetable oil in a bowl and mix well with a whisk until combined.
  • Step 2
  • Add sugar in 2 batches, mixing well each time.
  • Step 3
  • Sift the cake flour into the bowl and fold in with a rubber spatula. After the flour is incorporated, use your hands to knead and bring the dough together.
  • Step 4
  • Form into a cylindrical shape and refrigerate for 30 minutes. If you want to make cut-out cookies, wrap the dough in plastic wrap without shaping it and refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • Slice the dough into 5mm - 1cm thick and bake in an oven preheated to 355F/180C for about 13 minutes. Let the cookies cool completely, and they're done!
  • Step 6
  • If you slice the dough thickly (1-1.5 cm), the crumbly texture will be even better!! Hmm, I wonder how many times I've made these... this is one of my favorite recipes.
