  • 1 bag Frozen edamame (in the pods)
  • 1 tbsp Sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 Garlic
  • 1 Sesame oil (to saute the garlic)
  • 1 Salt

How to Make Edamame Garlic

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Edamame Garlic in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Chop the garlic and saute in sesame oil until fragrant. Remove from the heat and let cool. If you're short on time, you could use raw garlic.
  • Step 2
  • Boil the edamame in salted water. If using frozen edamame, follow the directions on the package. I boiled for about 5 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • When they are done boiling, cool the edamame in ice water.
  • Step 4
  • Toss with the sweet chili sauce.
  • Step 5
  • Add the aromatic sauteed garlic and mix. Adjust the sweetness and saltiness while checking on the taste. It should be rather salty.
  • Step 6
  • The "Edamame Garlic" is ready!
