  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 cup Brown Rice (cooked)
  • 1 can Corn
  • 1 can Pinto Beans
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1/4 stick Velveeta Cheese

How to Make El Paso Skillet

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make El Paso Skillet in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Brown your ground beef and scramble with the onions.
  • Step 2
  • Once meat is done add 1 can of pinto beans and 1 can of diced tomatoes . Don't drain the beans but be sure to drain the tomatoes.
  • Step 3
  • Once heated evenly on medium heat, add the corn and the brown rice once it has been cooked.
  • Step 4
  • Last, once everything is evenly heated, add the Velveeta cheese. Be sure to slice the cheese into about 1/2 inch cubes, then cover skillet and simmer for about 10 mins or until the cheese is melted and can be stirred into the mix.
